The Mediterranean Red Coral and Pearl Sterling Silver Necklace is a limited edition item. I made this design in honor of our new Catamaran, Skål. It's the first of many ocean themed jewlery pieces I plan to make in her honor.
I bought the beads from a very trusted source whose family has been in the business for generations. He assured me these Red Coral beads are old stock, they were harvested decades ago. Each one is unique in inclusions but similar in shape and width.
The necklace is meant to be worn alone or layered with other pieces. It's comes in 16 or 18 inches long when worn at the second closure with a freshwater pearl accent. Each can be worn 1 inch shorter on the first closure, which makes it easier to layer with other pieces. The necklace comes on Figaro sterling silver chain, which compliments the Coral.
