Tiny Abalone Ocean Necklace

This multi stone sterling silver tiny Abalone Shell Necklace is a limited edition.  My partner and I sustainably sourced these tiny Abalone shells from a commercial Abalone farm in California.  The tiny shells are really hard to find, making them rare.  These ones died young due to a snail infestation at the farm.  I had to clean them up a little and strengthened the outer side of the shell with a jewelers epoxy to make them sturdier. 

They're so adorable and are just around a half inch in length.  I wired wrapped sterling silver bails on them.  I created an ocean themed chain with Turquoise, Peridot, Emerald, Jade, Blue Lace Agate, White Pearl, Champagne Pearl, Black Pearl and Moonstone.  I put a Blue Topaz briolette bead on the closure of the chain.  Each one is unique in the shell and the randomness of the wrapped stones.  They range from 16" to 18" long.
